We stayed at the Alpenblick Hotel 1st to 8th March 08. What a great hotel this is. The food was amazing, the room was spacious but the service and attention to detail was the highlight for me. The staff were always around to offer their help if needed. The hotel is in a great spot just 5 mins walk to the main station that links all the way to the ski areas of Wengen, Murren or Grindlewald. Interlaken is a 20 minute walk (through an area called Matten) or a 5 minute bus ride away. The views from the hotel are some of the best you will see! Great Hotel. Food very good. Quiet location. Rooms/beds comfortable. All staff very friendly. We enjoyed Wilderswil and found it to be a very good base for either mountains or lakes.

Hotel al estilo de la tipica casita suiza (como todos en Wilderswill). Habitacion sencilla pero confortable, parking sin problemas, desayuno muy bueno, cena segun gustos aunque con muchos platos (se acaba lleno).

We stayed here for a week in august with our six year old son choosing it as a base for exploring the jungfray region. Its setting is superb with excellent travelling links and walking routes. The hotel itself is really not suited to young families the food was awful hardly anything to eat and certainly nothing that six year olds would even contemplate, most nights we had to eat out. The worst thing of all was the inappropriate "interest " that the young thai maid took in my six year old son which really disturbed us and made us complain directly to our travel company. Needless to say we won't be going again and we urge others with youngsters to avoid
