We stayed at this hotel using their 2 night break offer, staying B&B. The rooms were large, a little dated but very clean. The sports facilities were excellent, we chose this hotel because of the squash courts. The pool was also good with a plentiful supply of towels available. The bar area was very comfortable and the food very good, maybe a little expensive. We had no difficulty finding the hotel, just follow the signs for the ski slope. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definately stay there again.

Booked via golfbreaks. My turn to book for a group of uni mates who only get together as a group every couple of years so the pressure was on to find somewhere good. Price was cheap so took a chance as it looked ok and reviews were fine. Hotel is what it says on the tin, a 3 star. Needs a lick of paint if I'm being super critical but it didn't matter. What made it so good was the staff. They were all, without exception, friendly and welcoming. Very smiley and made us feel like we were genuinely welcome. All my party have stayed in some nice hotels around the world but rarely have any of us enjoyed service like this. We had a 2 night dinner, B&B golf break. Excellent value at ?179 pp with 3 rounds of golf. The course is great, challenging for the good golfer whilst not too daunting for the novice. Food at hotel and golf club very good. Drinks prices not too bad considering it's a hotel with a captive market. Back 9 of the golf course is quite hilly so a good idea to hire a buggy or motorised trolley. Overall, a wonderful weekend. 10 out of 10.

We booked this through the RCI Partners Program. We had to exchange our week in Hawaii *and* four days on the Oregon Coast in order to have the number of credits for five nights here. To be honest, it wasn't worth it.
Reception staff were uniformly good and I must praise Beckie for going the extra mile when RCI and their "Partner" screwed up our reservation. Dinner was good quality but quite expensive for what we got the one night we dined in. Breakfast was not booked as part of our reservation, so can't comment on that (we ended up eating at the Sainsbury most mornings as it was much more affordable than having breakfast in the hotel).
The room was good. Spacious with new furnishings and quite a comfortable bed. However, housekeeping was not good. Didn't always replace used glassware (we had left a teabag in a glass as there were no saucers in the tea service and they moved the glass back to where it originally was, but didn't replace it or take out the teabag).
The hotel is associated with a private health club which guests have complimentary access to. The pool area is large with several jacuzzi areas. The hot jacuzzi is not terribly hot. Good sauna but tepid steam bath. There are also squash and workout facilities available that I didn't use.
The layout of the hotel is very rambling and our room was at the end of the what I think is the furthest wing (past the swimming area). Lots of steps *everywhere* so really not good for older people who might have a problem with stairs. Each stairway has a wheelchair lift attached to it...I can imagine if someone in a wheelchair were staying in our room, it would take him 10-15 minutes to get from the lobby to his room.
For us, the general location was good as we were within an hour drive of a number of different locations we wanted to visit (Bath, Cardiff, B'ham, Cotswalds, Oxford). But as others have stated, it can be difficult to find, especially at night. If you don't have satellite navigation, make sure you print off the local map and directions from the hotel website. Even though on the map, it looks like the hotel is right off the M5, it is actually halfway between two junctions and it's easily ten minutes once you get off the motorway. For us, a location more convenient to the M5 would have been better.
Most of the problems we had with our stay had nothing to do with the hotel, but with the booking agent, and the hotel staff went out of their way to inconvenience us a little as possible.

We have just enjoyed a 3 night break on one of the Ramada special deal rates. For the price we paid then we thought it was good value. On arrival there was a very warm welcome from the receptionist who was extremely polite and helpful with a very pleasant demeanour. The room was of average size, clean and well appointed as was the bathroom.Breakfast was of the buffet style but on 2 mornings cooked food was to order - this was not a problem and was served quickly and hot.I would say there was only limited availabilty of fresh fruit and cereals but plenty of coffee, tea, toast etc.
We did not eat in the hotel in the evening but found a very nice pub about 3 miles down the road which did an excellent carvery every evening.
I would agree with a previous TA correspondents report that the hotel could be difficult to find - I was pleased we had Sat Nav !
If you do not have a Sat Nav then take the signs for the Ski Resort which is located next to the hotel.
