The hotel is in a good location and looks lovely. The room we had had was really nice (family room) and the view from the room was lovely. Our only issue with the hotel was the service; it was either the evening receptionist or room service. We ordered two meals early evening and as we knew they had a weekend party in for the weekend we attempted to be patient, 21:00 came and went so we called up again only to be told that they didn’t have the order ( I think this was receptions fault), the head chef did call an apologise and our food arrived in 20 mins. The next day we ordered some more food and again nothing for over an hour after being told 10 mins , this time it turns out they went to the wrong room!. I would like to add all the staff I talked to in person was really nice and helpful. I believe this may just be one bad apple spoiling the cart. Overall a really nice place to stay.

Booked our stay through Tesco Clubcard Deals, for my 45th Birthday. Hotel was in a lovely setting, Had a lovely Room, breakfast was plentiful. Hotel was lovely and clean. Had a large bed looked like two single beds pushed together but lovely and big and it was a very warm room had to open the window in the night as I got to hot, decor was nice and modern. Stayed in the new part of the Hotel up on the 4th floor looked out of my window last night and saw little bunny rabbits playing in the grounds of the hotel what a lovely sight. Saw quite a lot of squirrels in the grounds. Hotel had a swimming pool but did not use it as we visited quite a few places Gloucester, Cirencester, Stow on the Wold. We also went to Sudeley Castle and walked round the grounds did not realise that Catherine Parr Henry viii's wife once lived their. Winchcombe is lovely it is situated near the castle. Also visited a lovely place called burford and bibury where you could go trout fishing it was in a lovlely setting. Would recommend this hotel.

The title of the review says it all. It has a bar, restaurant and small spa but it is ultimately a travelodge. At a price of £120 you will be crazy to stay here.

We stayed here as it looked fairly close to Cheltenham Races which in fact it proved to be. Only 8 Miles and around a 20 minute drive. The hotel was very friendly and clean. Food was excellent. It is isolated and a bit off the beaten track. Grounds are stunning. Only down side for us was the room which for the price was very small and a bit tired. It was a smoking room as requested and another member of our party was in a non smoking one which was much larger and more modern.

We booked our stay through Tesco, it is a lovely hotel in a lovely setting. Our room was spacious and very clean. Although our room was at the back of the hotel, so no view, the views from the restaurant were lovely - sloping grounds leading to a small lake. Parking was easy, make sure you have a map though as the hotel is situated in a slight maze of roads. Recommended!
