The fairly outdated building could do with being updated. Some of the staff are excellent, very helpful reception staff helped me plan my onward journey and the bar staff were very welcoming. Good breakfast buffet.

A perfectly functional, clean, tidy, efficient hotel.. Rooms clean and tidy and fairly well presented, staff OK, bar food and drink nice enough.. Not a lot of car parking, but there is an underground car park for an additional charge that can also be busy.. Main gripe is that the single rooms are small, with only a single bed.. Not really the modern way.. Even in an Ibis you get a double bed and a larger room.. So make sure you et a larger room.. And the hotel's location is in the suburbs, so not within walking distance of the centre.. If you need that, beware.. But not a bad experience at all..

Ich habe hier kürzlich während einer Geschäftsreise eine Nacht verbracht und es hat mir gefallen. Es ist ein modernes Geschäftshotel das wenig zu wünschen übrig läßt. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und so auch die öffentlichen Bereiche. Das Hotel war sauber aber nicht makellos. Die Angestellten in der Bar und am Empfang waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein- und Auschecken waren flott und ohne Schwierigkeiten. Ich war nicht im Hotelrestaurant, hatte nur eine Kleinigkeit, das war gut. Die meisten Gäste schienen auch Geschäftsreisende zu sein, vor dem Hotel standen aber auch zwei Reisebusse, da waren Reisegruppen auf dem Weg durch Deutschland drin. Was mich zum Thema Parken bringt: es ist kostenlos aber es gibt nicht viele Parkplätze, gegen Gebühr kann man aber das Parkhaus benutzen. Ich habe meinen Wagen auf der Straße geparkt und hatte keinerlei Probleme. Ich fand, dass das Hotel einen Tick weit vom Zentrum entfernt war. Es liegt in den Außenbezirken von Magdeburg. Man kommt mit der Bahn oder dem Wagen leicht ins Stadtzentrum, vielleicht in 15 Minuten, aber das ist meiner Meinung nach nicht sehr praktisch. Die Umgebung ist auch nicht sehr ansprechend, Schrebergärten, eine heruntergekommene Lagerhalle, ein Billigladen, eine Tankstelle und eine Grünfläche. Ich zahlte 61 Euro pro Nacht, Frühstück war nicht im Preis enthalten, meiner Meinung nach ein fairer Preis. Ich kann das Hotel trotz der paar Nachteile gerne empfehlen.

I stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip for just one night and enjoyed it. It is a modern business hotel that doesn't leave much to be desired. The rooms are very nice so are the common areas. The hotel was clean but not perfectly spotless. The staff at reception as well as the bar was friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was quick and hassle-free. I didn't try the hotel restaurant but only had a snack which was fine. Most of the guests seemd to be fellow business travelers (though there were two tour buses on the road outside the hotel that appeared to belong to tourist guests traveling around Germany). Speaking about parking: There's free but limited outdoor parking available as well as a parking garage that you can use for a fee. I parked my car outside and had no problems whatsoever with that. Regarding the location of the hotel, I have to say that I found it to be a tat bit too far away from the city centre. It is located on the outskirts of Magdeburg. OK, it's easy to get to the city centre by tram or car in a matter of I would say 15 minutes but it's not really conveniently located in my mind. The surroundings of the hotel are not too attractive either: allotment gardens, a run-down warehouse, a discount supermarket, a gas station and a green field. I paid 61 Euros for one night, breakfast not included and found that to be a fair deal. Prices for food and mini bar items are in my opinion at least slightly overpriced. Despite the little drawbacks I can in general recommend this nice hotel.

Schönes Hotel, recht hohe Kategorie (zum Glück nicht elegant), die Angestellten waren mit Ausnahem einer Angestellten sehr freundlich. Ganz deutlich ein Hotel, das nach der Wende gebaut worden ist. Sauber und nahe an dem, was wir erwartet hatten. Zwei negative Punkte: - beinahe keine Parkplätze und eine Nacht in der Tiefgarage kostete 10 Euro, die war aber voll. - der sogenannte Whirlpool besteht aus zwei separaten Whirlpools und man zahlt 2.60 Euro für 10 Minuten. Mein Tipp in Richtung Hotelleitung: das ist Raub, schaffen Sie das ab. Der Pool ist seltsam geformt aber es geht in Ordnung. Die Sauna war nicht an, wurde auf Anfrage sofort eingeschaltet, war aber nie wärmer als 26 Grad. Das Fitness-Center ist kostenlos.
