Hotel ok, if somewhat impersonal. Reception staff good, night restaurant people helpful and good at improvising in their temporary surroundings ('the show must go on' despite major building work going on), breakfast lady outright rude. Room fine.

Das Hotel hat 4 Sterne nicht verdient. Der schlechte Service ging schon beim Check-In los, sehr inkompetente und äußerst schlecht gelaunte Mitarbeiter arbeiten am Empfang, dann waren die Zimmer muffig und im Bad gab es dreckige Handtücher. Es wirkt alles sehr abgegriffen und die Lage ist sehr außerhalb des Geschehens. Dieses Hotel läd nicht zum Wohlfühlen ein.

The hotel is definitely of international level, is clean and has a nice view of the town if you ask for a high floor room. The room was spacious with a nice desk and sitting chair. The in-room restaurant service is ok and fairly priced. The top floor has a nice sauna, showers and nice relaxation area with a good view of the town. The staff was very professional and helpful to solve a booking problem with the Ramada web site. I can recommend this hotel for a business stop in Kassel.

Our room was spacious and had good view over landscape far away. Often 4-stars hotel, have one or two stars too much. Here we wad a good 4-star experience. Dinner was far over standard, for what´s common for busgroups (which we were part of.) Also breakfast was rich and tasty. And lots of space, for both dinner and breakfast. I liked the area where the hotel is situated. But it is totally misleading to name it City Centre. Something between 2 or 3 km to centre.

My husband and I spent 2 nights while visiting Kassel to see the art exhibits at Dokumenta XII. The location on a tram line between the Bad Wilhelmshohe Bahnhof and downtown was excellent. We had a gigantic suite on the top floor with a great view. But the room was not cleaned at all even though we were gone from 10:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow and there were clouds of flying insects around the salad bar. All in all, I would not stay at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone.
