Salesfinder has stayed here and says:
"Hotel muy bien situado a 2 paradas de Shin Osaka y justo en el centro de la ciudad, hasta donde se puede ir paseando. Aunque sea el centro el hotel está en una zona tranquila pero cercano a centros comerciales y zona de bares y restaurantes. El hotel se correspondería a un cuatro estrellas de cualquier..."

If you want a western-style hotel in Osaka for a decent price, this is good place to stay. No problems.

I love this hotel

This hotel is really cool. The staff are very friendly and treats you like a king/queen. It is also very convenient as it is connected directly to Nakatsu subway station, which is just one short stop away from Umeda station. There's also a starbucks across the street and several convenience stores, like FamilyMart and 7-11. Walk a bit further and you can also find some decent restaurants. I have stayed in some hotels that provides free internet access. But you need to have a laptop to enjoy this benefit. But in Ramada Osaka, you don't need one to enjoy it because they provide you with a desktop in the room! Yes. You can actually surf the internet, do your MS Office stuff, watch Youtube all in the comfort of the hotel room without needing you to bring your personal laptop along. Now isn't that just amazing?

Good Location, but some fundamental flaws.

Location is good, adjacent to subway station. Price was quite good too, being a single traveller, averaged out about $100 AUD a night, not bad for a hotel in a major Japanese city. However, some fundamental flaws existed. Being Winter, I can understand why the windows are shut up unable to be opened. However, the air-conditioning is actually turned off during winter, so absolutely no fresh/recycled air can enter your room unless you want central heating, which, when you are sleeping under covers makes the room extremely hot. Secondly, my single room was incredibly small. There is a large double bed, then about 1 metre of space around the bed to all the walls. Bathroom also small, but I found a few small bathrooms in Japan. As the A/C is turned off, and the room so small, a layer of condensation builds up on the window and forms puddles of water due to the heat of the room and the cold temps outside the window. Restaurant was eye-wateringly expensive as well, but probably not suprising. Please, Ramada. Turn on your A/C even during winter.

Great Location!

We picked staying in Osaka so we could be in the middle between Kyoto and Kobe (where the Pandas are!), and we needed a decent priced hotel with a good location. The Ramada was a good choice. It's connected directly to one of the exits of the Osaka Subway system, so you don't even have to go outside. We had a small, basic room with everything you would need. The hallways smelled like cigarettes, but fortunately the hotel room did not. We had a nice bathroom, and enough there was enough room for a desk and a queen size bed. The TV has one English channel (BBC), and there is a minibar to keep drinks cold. The hotel has several restaurants, but we didn't try any of them. The hotel is in a great location, close to major train stations, including the station for the Shinkansen. The room can be kind of warm. There's only an on/off switch for the heat, so you can't adjust the temperature.
