My husband and I stayed at this hotel when we were passing through town. What a mistake! The entire place is dark, old, and smells. They talk about a "remodel" (which is why we chose to stay here to begin with) but everything about this place is old and run down. Our recommendation is to avoid this hotel and choose another one in town.

Upon checking in, my husband and I waited at the front desk, un acknowledge for 10 minutes, just the 2 of us. We soon got our keys and the keys wouldn't open our door. We went back to the front desk to inform the clerk on duty and she was annoyed to see us and didn't state one word to us while correcting the problem. We soon entered the room and discovered it was a smoking room. However, while making the reservation we asked for a non-smoking room due to our allergies. We also discovered a problem with the cable in the room. We called the front desk from the room to inform them about the cable and the smoking room. The front desk clerk replied," I gave you a non-smoking room", but considering the room had cigarrette burns on the comforter and an ash tray in the room, I would have to disagree with her. It took the maintence man coming in and verifying the situation with the front desk clerk before we were believed and moved to another room. We had been traveling all day and was exaulsted. That was too much to deal with after a long trip. Finally we were moved to another room and it was pleasant. After that we were informed that the problem with the cable was the fact that their channels start at 2 and end at 23 because it's currently being worked on. I could deal with that. I would also like to add that the housekeeping staff was very friendly and the maintence man was very helpful as well. I found the bed to be very clean and comfortable as well as the bathroom. However, I will not be returning. I work in customer service and when you are the first person a customer see's upon entering a hotel, you set the stage for their entire stay and that one front desk staff person on duty ruined it for us. Best of luck toward the plans and development of this hotel in the future.

I used to stay here when it was a Holiday Inn.
The name changed to Ramada and the service and quality of rooms went down. But recently they have undergone some renavations and i was very pleased. New rooms new staff .
A very pleasant and refreashing stay.

This hotel seemed poorly maintainted. It was very dark and smokey even though we had a "non smoking" room. The room could have used a coat of paint. Internet access was good though and the guest laundry was less expensive than some hotels I've stayed at.

I would not recommend this hotel. The first room we were given was in horrible shape. The wallpaper was peeling off and the wall was covered in mold. There was also mold around the perimeter of the ceiling. The fixtures were falling off in the bathroom. We did request a different room and it was in better shape, but still not great. I just wonder how much mold is growing behind the walls.
