Stopped at this hotel as part of a last minute road trip. Front desk was polite and helpful. Room was average and fairly clean.

We booked this hotel for our 2nd + last night in Knoxville, and would absolutely try to stay here first if we're in Knoxville again. Our rate was $55, 2 queen beds, through the Traveler Coupon books they offer at rest stops + welcome centers. The clerk was kind enough to offer our family of 3 the 1-2 person rate via phone and stuck to it even though when we got there it was almost booked up. Their normal rate was around $70, and that's still not too high.
What we were looking for + found here: very clean rooms, safety, fridge, coffeemaker, 2 beds, wireless internet access in the rooms (you don't need a provider, but they do also have hard-wired access in rooms), pool, breakfast.
Extras were:
- soundproofing - neighbors? what neighbors? hotel was almost booked but no noise.
- light turquoise sheets + blankets - they go a long way to battle the beige standard. also comfortable beds.
- the a/c was fully adjustable and stayed on all night, which was very easy to sleep by. none of that annoying on-off all night of the a/c, and it was quiet as far as a/c units go. also was a heatwave then, 96 there, and the room stayed nice + cool.
- microwave, hairdryer, iron/board, drycleaning - didn't use
- just 1/4 mile off the highway with lots of hotels around to create a sound barrier makes it feel more peaceful - bucolic pasture in the back with a few cows grazing. we faced the front but that sound barrier made the highway impossible to hear. great exterior lighting - bright but not crazily so.
- continental breakfast was mostly carbs but included oatmeal, french toast, waffles, bagels, english muffins, blueberry muffins, cereals, juice, coffee, fruit. protein (yogurt etc) would have been nice but at $55 a non-issue.
- a grocery store (Food City) 1 mile down past those bucolic pastures had anything we needed.
- the fellow travelers seemed very peaceful and smart, whether business/leisure - we felt safe around them.
- also safe part of town - there's a cluster of hotels, a ruby tuesday's that all can walk to, and a bp gas station.
- staff was amazing, both clerks at the front desk were very helpful, focused + friendly. the only question we had was about wireless but they seemed capable and friendly about answering many more questions if we had them.
I'm surprised there's not more reviews for this hotel here. It was a lucky find. We're at hotels 20-30 times a year, and this one was in the top 3.

We stayed at the Ramada Limited -East on Apr 29 & 30th 05, and was just amazed with speedy check-in and the clerks were very helpful in helping my family plan the weekend around the Bristol rain delay on Sat. race.
The cleanliness of the room was terrific. It has been few years since my family was pleased with our hotel stay, plus the kids loved the breakfast.
We will definately reccomend this hotel to our friends and family.
