Hotel is situated next door to SOLNA CENTRUM T-Bana stop (line T11) and the metro takes about 10 mins to get into T- Centralen so this is a handy option if the city centre hotels are all full or really pricey which is more often the case in the centre of Stockholm. Hotel is also situated near the Rasunda football stadium so handy for people needing to be near the ground. As mentioned the hotel is inside a Shopping Centre complex and for those arriving late at night, there is a side entrance by the main entrance to the shopping centre to gain access. Having the shopping centre located on your doorstep is handy for a number of reasons, but more importanly becuase the shopping centre is closed after 9pm and doesnt open till about 10am most days,it means the hotel and surrounding area is quiet. Service is good,if predictably Swedish. Cue typical check in: Hej, you have a reservation for xxx nights.Your room is xxx. Breakfast is from xxx till xxx hours. Hej Daw. End of conversation. The Swedish are of course the masters of simplicity, so what may be misconstrued as being cold and frosty is just the Swedes being efficient! Was upgraded to a Business class room which is on the new wing of the hotel, so have no idea what the standard rooms are like. The room was a little on the small side for an upgraded room, so its safe to say standard rooms are tiny! The Business Class rooms have wooden floors, large seperate single beds pushed together for a double. Standard facilities in the room,, TV with 10 or so channels, mostly Swedish and English, honesty minibar, Iron and ironing board, tea and coffee and an in room safe. Bathroom is nicely kitted out, the furnishings are quite nice and lots of natural light in the room. Only negative is lack of Air Conditioning!! Breakfast is good and complimentary on all rates. Good selection of cooked and continental breakfast items and very handy for filling up on if on a budget as Stockholm is quite pricey food wise elsewhere! The hotel benefits from a PC and business centre in the reception area,although internet access is available in room. The hotel also has a Sauna on the top floor! Weekend rates are not bad around 890 SEK per night which is quite good value and the fact you are only 10 mins away by the T-Bana (metro) is great. The T-Bana is efficient, clean and runs til 3.30am at weekends! Good option in Stockholm!

I have stayed in the hotel many times. Overall I would say that this hotel is of average standard. The room is clean and the bed is OK (not as comfortable as the Marriott bed of course). The shower is powerful although I think they can do with a better shower door to prevent the water from splashing everywhere. I have to soak up the floor with the towels each time I finish with the shower which is very inconvenient. Breakfast is OK. A goods selection of nicely cut fresh fruits, bread, cereals, well-cooked eggs and tea. The only thing I would moan about is the fruit juice. It's watery. Any juice in the supermarket next door would taste better than what they put in the machine. Dinner in the hotel is expensive but above average quality and creative although the portions are quite small. If you obtain a goldpointsplus card on check in, it will give you 5% discount on the food bill. There is an outdoor area outside the restaurant where you can smoke. Service in the restaurants and reception are good. Check in and Check out take no more than 5 minutes. The staff is polite. However, the room rates vary from week and week depending on occupancy rates. The hotel is 10 mins on the metro from Solna Centrum so locationwise it's pretty convenient. This is a place for short stay only. It's not for romance or a long family holiday. No pool and the decoration is pretty dull. People who stay here are mostly business travellers and tourists on packaged holiday.

I've stayed one night at the Park Inn Solna (for business). The room was okay, but the mattress was way too soft, and I could not get my window to shut completely... The location is a bit odd (in a middle of a shopping centre), but quite convenient, I must say. The bar was good though - quite relaxing. And breakfast was good. Good choice and yummy scrambled eggs!

Llegamos al hotel a traves de una agencia en internet, y logramos un muy buen precio por tres noches. Tomamos una habitacion para 4 (dos adultos, 1 niño y un infante). La pieza tenia una linda vista a un parque, poco ruido, amplia, y limpia. El baño era amplio y comodo, con tina de baño (conveniente con bebes). La piezas cuentan con facilidades como internet, TV cable y pago de peliculas, sin embargo el precio por internet y las peliculas es algo excesivo. El desayuno, muy bueno, con muchas cosas para elegir y en un comedor muy agradable. En verano es posible tomar el desayuno en la terraza. La ubicacion es muy conveniente, solo a pasos del tren subterraneo, y a lado de un centro comercial con Internet cafe, restaurants y supermercados, entre otros. Algunos aspectos menos agradables durante nuestra estadia fueron la poca informacion sobre los servicios del hotel y la poca "proactividad" del personal en la recepcion. Por ejemplo, si usted no pregunta, no hay forma de saber que en el piso mas alto del edificio hay un fabuloso sauna con linda vista para los clientes, ni que puede solicitar una bata para ir y venir de el. En mi caso la solicite y llego mucho tiempo despues de que la necesitaba. En general la recepcion del hotel no es precisamente un servicio "atento al cliente", sin embargo son razonablemente amables. Otro aspecto no agradable de la estadia fue encontrar dos calcetines ajenos metidos debajo del cojin de un sillon. Por ultimo, cuando hice la reserva se me informo de lo conveniente de tener un parque justo al lado del hotel, considerando los niños, sin embargo el parque no esta bien mantenido (vidrios y latas de cerveza) y es frecuentado por grupos de drogadictos. No tuvimos ningun problema, pero considere poco seguro que mis hijos jugaran alli. En general, nos parecio un lugar comodo y confortable, con una buena relacion precio/calidad, cercano al transpote publico y al comercio. Seria mejor si el personal se esforzara un poco mas en informar y comunicarse con los clientes.
