I recommend this hotel for: A romantic getaway, Girlfriend getaway, Tourists, Young singles, An amazing honeymoon.
Modern hotel with good rooms and parking (unusual for Nottingham) However hotel full of minor problems: breakfast food lukewarm,:people placed in wrong category rooms; shower caps and soaps and shampoos and teabags not rplaced: towels only replaced every 3 days. Basically problems of poor management and supervision.

This hotel was booked as accommodation for 1 night during May bank holiday for a 30th party my husband and I attended. We were looking for cheap clean accommodation close to the party venue. Doesn't look great from the outside although there were 2 weddings there while we stayed. The check in was very slow, lounge and bar area were fine, room overlooked the pub opposite on a busy road but that didn't really cause any problems. Room was very 'cosy' the hotel had been refurbished recently but the paint job was pretty poor. The room was clean, bed comfy enough for 1 night, air con worked well although the unit was huge for such a tiny room. The plasma was located on the wall but due to lack of space it was not at the foot of the bed but instead above the desk at the end of the room which meant you couldn't see the TV very well at all. Lots of channels though - better than most hotels. Food looked pretty pricey so went to pub across the road - not badly priced but not brilliant quality. Bathroom in room was fine - clean but shower not very powerful. What bugged us more than anything was the noise from 8am, at 9.30 thinking it was a rowdy group of girls getting ready to check out, my hubby popped his head out the door to ask them to keep the noise down a bit (12noon check out) and it turned out to be the cleaning staff - we were really angry as they were carrying on like it was a social club - shouting up the corridors to each other and slamming doors all over the place, not shy about what they'd gotten up to the night before though - very juicy gossip! Didn't get a chance to use facillities so can't comment on pool, etc All in all good location and clean enough.

stayed at this hotel for one night. the location was ok, we could have walked to town but unfortunately i had hurt my ankle, the bus were very frequent however, and a taxi back was around 5.50. the the room was fairly small, but it was clean, bright and fresh. i think the whole hotel has undergone a recent refurb. the shower was very nice, big, and powerfull. the lobby and pool areas were also nice. nothing spectacular, but you would expect it to be for a ?70 a night hotel anyway. the only problem we had was that on the morning before check out we decided to get up early and go for a swim. we had chosen this hotel becasue of its facilities, however after about 10 minutes of swimming lots of older people decended on the pool and told us they had a class and we could no longer stay in the pool. we went and spoke to the manager and he agreed that on a tues and thurs there are classes in the pool. we argued that we have paid to use the pool, but his response was so have they. we agreed, but i think that a hotel which boasts a pool should be available to all paying customers. overall we liked the hotel and would stay agian, but make sure it wasnt on a tues or thurs!

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of May. Upon check in the receptionist said to us 'you haven't left anything valuable in your car have you? I wouldn't - not around here' which wasn't a great start!!!
The room was incredibly small - much smaller than a travelodge for example and although it had just been decorated, it looked like it was trying to be trendy but failing.
The TV was positioned on the wall so you could only see it if you sat under the clothes hanger - not from the bed and it couldn't be angled.
Our main problem here however was the noise. From 8am there was constant doors banging and cleaners shouting in the halls and as the walls are very, very thin you can hear everything - no chance of sleeping once it started.
We attended a wedding at the hotel and the food served was good. We didn't use any of the other facilities so can't comment on them.
Overall if we were going back I wouldn't stay there again.

Don't think the reviews below do this hotel justice -
the bedrooms have been refurbished and they are very cool, modern and extremely comfy. Air con in the rooms, great food, walk in showers and lovely Sony Bravia LCD Tvs,,,,, i could have stayed there for weeks. Room was nice and spacious with more than enough room to swing several cats - unlike the cupboard i was put in at the jurys inn.
To add to the lovely new rooms, there is a swiming pool, sauna, steamroom and a jacuzzi so the Mrs was very happy too.
All in all, a great experience and quite cheap too - so much nicer than some of the "holes" we have had the misfortune to stay in in Nottingham. Park Inn has a great location too... walkable distance to Market Square (city centre)
cant wait to go back.......... give it a go - you wont be dissapointed.
