In Vienna as an old Imperial City this avenue named Taborstrasse, leading directly unto the city walls of Vienna, was the link between north and south. Traders, coachmen and wayfarers stoped here to take a rest. The taverns in this street where never empty. The most beautiful sights and attractions of Vienna are within reach in a few minutes walk: the Cathedral of Saint Stephens, the Ring Avenue, the historic center with the Imperial Palace and Schatzkammer and the shopping areas Karntner Strasse, Graben and Kohlmarkt.
