My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the Marriott hotel. We were impressed when Sergio emailed us prior to our stay. He asked us if we needed an airport transfer, if we wanted to book a tour, etc. We were interested in an airport transfer and emailed him back. However, he responded so late that we were unable to book the transfer with the hotel. We had no problems getting a cab to the hotel. It was such a nice gesture to email us but he should have followed up more quickly - especially since he knew what day we would arrive. We found the hotel to be very nice. The room was large and the staff was very nice and helpful. There is a nice mall right next to the hotel. We took cabs from the mall and not from the hotel. It is more expensive to get a cab from the hotel. The hotel is like a 20-30 minute walk to the subway. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The concierge's at the Marriott Santiago were the best! They were willing to go the extra mile and helped make this a memorable trip. The hotel was very clean, and the views of the mountains were absolutely beautiful... The location is ok, I would have preferred it to be near a subway station however renting a car was well worth it. I do have to warn of the people who offer to watch your parked car for a small fee. It seems like they would come out of nowhere demanding their money, and some had uniforms. So to avoid conflict we just gave them the small fee they demanded...

This hotel is absolutely great. Great rooms, but modern furniture, friendly staff, good food in the restaurants. My only complain is the location. Too far from downtown. You have to take a pricey a cab if you want to go almost everywhere. But, as I said, the hotel is very nice and absolutely recommendable.
