Room was comfortable and clean enough, but we won't be using Best Western again if there's any alternative. Firstly, on finding we were overlooking a dual carriageway, we asked to change to a quieter room but were refused as the hotel was said to be full. This turned out to be incorrect. The hotel was largely empty - they just couldn't be bothered.
Secondly our meal in the Kennedy restaurant was dreadful - the 'steak' was tastless and almost uneatable, other items were little better and, a week later, we still have stomach problems.
Even more disappointing, our complaints to 3 members of staff were treated with total contempt. There was no response whatever, much less an apology. We had the strong impression that they are well used to complaints.
Apalling, overall - and there's an automatic charge for 'service'!
