The Hotel Sacher Salzburg in Salzburg - formerly "Hotel d'Autriche", built by Carl Freiherr von Schwarz - is situated in the heart of Salzburg. The hotel has made history over the years, the which the well-kept guestbooks bear witness. A new area began 1988 with the Guertler family, the owner of the well known Hotel Sacher in Vienna. To preserve the atmosphere and uniqueness, renovations and expansion work was carried out so that the hotel presents itself as a meeting point in the heart of Salzburg. The location is unique - directly on the bank of the Salzach river and facing Salzburg's old city. From the moment of your arrival you will be captured by the magnificent turn-of-the century ambiance of our grant staircase. All our rooms are individually furnished with antiques in the old traditional style (last renovation: 2005). The latest technical equipment is standard. Enjoy our international cuisine as well as our local specialties at our restaurant Roter Salon and at our traditional Zirbelstube. Whether in the cozy, refurbished Cafe Sacher in the "Grill" or at the Piano Bar - allow yourself to be pampered. Renovations and Closures Refurbishments and redecoration of indivdidual rooms are done on an on-going basis, however, no major renovation works are planned for the near future.
