We stayed two nights during summer, for a short break in Andorra. The hotel is set up high, above La Massana. Our room was on the third floor, and had a balcony overlooking the valley and the mountains in the distance. It was quiet, comfortable and an enjoyable place to stay. The breakfast included in our stay was also of high quality, as was the dinner we had on one evening of our stay.

Our stay at this hotel was great, the presentation is perfect, it was a romantic setting with large comfortable rooms with a mini bar, huge bed!!! and everything you need. The two things we did realise very soon is that you can hear people next door very clear because the walls are thin, we thought it was funny hearing some conversations but its not so nice hearing people go to the toilet.... The second was this terrible smell in the bathroom, we asked for the floor to be cleaned twice which they did asap and the smell would go for a while, we think it may have been a toilet leak or lack of ventitation.This didn't put us off the hotel though and we enjoyed every bit of our stay!!! We both thought the quality of food was very high with good presentation and fast service. We love to try new foods so it was a real experience. Its not the best choice if you dont eat fish or meat because those are the options daily but luckily i eat fish and it was fab each night. The location of the hotel is good if you have a car because its about 10 minutes to town and 15 minutes to slopes by car. There wasn't much snow on some slopes when we went but we snowboarded for about 6 hours each day on a good selection of blue's and red's. There are a few restaurants about, its basic food but keeps you going. The people seemed friendly and service was fast. There are fantastic shops in Andorra city, loads of ski and board shops with really good deals so well worth a visit!! We would recommend anyone to stay here because we really enjoyed it.

After reading the previous review I did not have great expectations. I booked 2 rooms, one for my parents and one for us! We got the best deal as my parents were on the top floor, under the eaves! A bathroom light was broken which they tried to fix but couldn't. I requested a new room for them but as the hotel was full this wasn't possible. Our room was lovely and big. My daughter was delighted with the little playground at the side. We decided not to have breakfast in the hotel which was a big mistake because it looked lovely - instead we went into town and got ripped off in the Palace Hotel! I would recommend this hotel based on the price of €60 a room. Staff not over friendly but helpful enough!
