This hotel is an average 4 star- nothing wrong with it, though nothing spectacular either. Room, facilities, breakfast, décor are all average. The location may be a bit of a negative because it is a little away from the lively parts of Trieste. However, it is only 100m from the train station and bust terminal. This is convenient to go to/come from the airport as there is a shuttle bus every 30 minutes. Otherwise you have to spend a small fortune on a taxi as the airport is more than 35 km away.

Bello per essere un jolly hotel, ma niente di speciale. Si trova lungo una strada rumorosa e non potrete dormire bene, gli arredi risalgono perlopiù agli anni 80 e l'hotel avrebbe bisogno di essere un po' ristrutturato anche se non era in rovina né cadeva a pezzi. La camera era molto pulita, così come il bagno. Il personale faceva davvero tutto il possibile: in camera ho trovato un accappatoio, un paio di pantofole, tutti i possibili prodotti per la pulizia del corpo, tra cui uno spazzolino...particolari che anche i migliori hotel tendono a dimenticare. Il personale era molto gentile e sorridente e, anche se l'hotel era pieno, gli addetti si sono rivelati molto efficienti, riuscendo a servire la colazione a tutti gli ospiti alla stessa ora. Complimenti al direttore, che riesce a gestire questo hotel al meglio, benché con risorse limitate.

the hotel is nice for a jolly, but nothing special. Location on noisy street means you might not sleep very well, furniture is mainly from the 80s and would need some refurbishing but it was not ruined or, worse, crumbling apart. The room was very clean and same for the toilet. Apart from that it has to be said they really do their best to help: in the room I had a bathrobe, slippers, all possible toiletries including toothbrush, things that even in better hotels they tend to forget. Also the personnel was very nice and smiling, and although the hotel was full they really coped very well with all the people having breakfast at the same time, so a compliment to the manager who managed to do well with limited resources.
