Although the conference facilities were excellent, billing this hotel as a "luxury" resort is a euphemistic daydream. The staff treated guests as a nuisance. I asked what was included with my package. "That was explained to you at checkin" (no it wasn't, else why would I ask?) The rooms were unmaintained. No air conditioning. Breakfast was cafeteria food. Over rated, over priced. Don't get me started on the smoke filled lobbies, rooms, restaurants!

Had a fortnight stay with my wife, what a fantastic time we had from the start to our very sad departure. The reception was very warm and welcoming and our rooms were better than expectations, spotlessly clean, spacious and very luxurious.Towels are changed twice daily and bedlinen changed every day with the softest of cotton sheets, fantastic. We were greeted in the room with bottles of water, some beautiful wine and a huge array of fresh fruit, all of which was most enjoyable after our flight. The food in the hotel is excellent with a vast selection to suit every taste,in fact it was so good it was hard to choose sometimes.The service in the restaurant , in fact anywhere in the hotel was fantastic,always a warm greeting and nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was spotlessly clean and I loved that i didnt have to have excess luggage with towels as they supplied your towel for the pool which you could change whenever you liked. There was evening entertainment for you if you required and the animation team were always keen to involve you in any activities and kept us well informed of what activities were going on Rhodes overall is a beautiful island, we hired a car to tour which is easy to do around the island but we never found a better hotel than the one we stayed in I can highly recomened this hotel to anyone regardless of age.

This is NOT a 5 star hotel. It may have been in it's day some 35 years ago but not now. At best it would be a 3 star but that is pushing it. The hotel is tired and old fashioned, all the fixtures and fittings are showing their age. The service for dinner was a buffet style which is not what one should expect from a 5 star hotel. The food was ok, salad selection was good and a the choices for children good. The main courses tended to arrive only warm or even cold, not good!! The outdoor pool was good and the area kept fairly clean, no problem getting a sunbed and the service around the pool area was good. The staff overall were very pleasant and wanted you to enjoy your holiday. The exclusive restaurant in the hotel was exceptional although you had to pay to use it. This is what a 5 star hotel should be offering as standard and not an extra. The resort was good and fairly close to Rodos, a taxi was 6 euros, plenty of shopping and choice of restaurants.

The set up of this hotel is very nice, particularly for families. Beautiful ocean views, beach is across the road, plenty of good restaurants nearby etc. Be prepared for a very wet bathroom since there are no shower curtains. They have a great breakfast buffet. The real problem is with management and the non restaurant staff. The restaurant staff is quite friendly. Lot of things don't work, most important the air conditioning in the bungalows is non existent. After repeated complaints they sent a technician to fix it. He came and announced that temperature was 18C or something . We pointed out that we were sweating, something humans can't do at 18C, he promptly called the front desk and said everything was fine and we were making a fuss about nothing. They charged us for internet connection by the hour which was not working either. And finally on check out they tried to charge me extra above the rate they had quoted in writing. Took 15 minutes of firmness to get it right. Bottom line: Try it at your own risk. If everything works, its worth it. If not don't bother complaining. No need to add frustration to inconvenience.
