Nice staff apart from hotel Manager Room very small, Had money taken from my room, reported to police they told me this had happen before at this hotel, they said i would be better to book out as there where lots of better safer hotels in Faro. Stay my last night at Hotel Faro The Manager was most un helpfull he ask me why i had not put money in room safe, had to point out to him there was not one,

I stayed at the Hotel Santa Maria for 5 nights with my husband while he was at a conference in Faro and we really liked the place. The room/bathroom was very clean, nicely decorated/maintained, decently sized (by European standards) and the included breakfast offered a great deal of options. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good value hotel in Faro.
