we loved the villa zuccari. We stayed there with our two teenage children for 5 nights this past June. It was a perfect location for touring Umbria, and that we did. The owners are a lovely couple and the staff made us feel special. My daughter fell in love with their dog, Pipo. The villa is imaculate and very peaceful. The grounds are so beautiful with roses everywhere and an amazing view of the Umbrian countryside. I feel that the price was very good in comparrison to the other places we stayed in Italy. We absolutely love the villa zuccari and will definately be back!!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Villa Zuccari for two evenings which was to short a stay. This is a beautiful hotel with great rooms, great public space and run by a wonderful family and caring employees. It is in a prime location central to many of the historic towns in Umbria. The great wineries are all around Montefalco and the staff at the hotel offer excellent advice on which wineries to visit and make the the reservations for you. The hotel is situated in the Zuccari family home which dates from the 16th century yet is completly modernized while keeping the old world charm. A great breakfast is seved in a sun filled room overlooking the Montefalco landscape. Dinner at the hotel was excellent and reasonable. All in all this is first rate hotel with superb accomadations, friendly helpful staff and owners in a perfect location. Highly recommended.

We have just spent 4 delightful days at Villa Zuccari near Monetfalco, Umbria. Perfectly positioned for visiting Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Todi etc, it is very difficult to tear oneself away from this tranquil oasis. The charming pink villa sits in its own spacious gardens. Gravel paths lined with trellised roses lead to the generous sized swimming pool; perfect for unwinding after a day of sight-seeing. This family run villa, which has been in the Zuccari family for generations, boasts an old world charm and comfort with a modern flair. Murano glass chandeliers abound as do the hand painted walls and marble bathrooms. No attention to detail has been spared here; the bedrooms are sizable and tastefully decorated; as is the elegant restaurant where the service was impeccable and the food of a high standard. Most important of all is the wonderful ambience of the hotel; due no doubt to the presence of the Zuccaris and their charming and friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble; they seemed to go out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. Villa Zuccari was delightful. I cannot wait to go back!
