Lacona is vey much appreciated for its features of marine location. It is situated in the Tuscan Archipleago National Park because of its white and fine-grained sandy hills which fringe the gulf. A beach that is one out of the biggest and largest of the Island (its geographic name is actually “the big beach”, la Spiaggia Grande) and whose sea is valued by those who love diving and snorkelling. It is the ideal place to go for children as well, thanks to the low sandy bottom of the sea. That also allows healthy and pleasant walking along the water’s edge.
