We picked this hotel as we loved it's location close to the beaches of Sao Raphael, although we haven't previously stayed here. The hotel is nicely done but doesn't seem to have a soul as it lacks atmosphere. The reception staff speak excellent English and are anxious to do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. Our room enjoyed a sea view and a countryside view. The countryside view was marred somewhat by the two building sites close to the hotel, which made using the balcony during the day noisy. The room was very spacious with plenty of cupboard and draw space; the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning a must due to the heat. The bathroom was a very good size, with both a shower and a bath. The daily maid service was unobtrusive and very efficient. We stayed on a half board basis. The food was average and reminded us a little of school dinners! The beach is about a 10 minute walk away and is stunning - used by a lot of locals too, not just tourists. It cost 10 euros to rent to sunbeds for the day - 15 if you also want an umbrella. There were a number of dogs living in the residntial properties around the hotel who barked an awful lot! I'd recommend having a car if you stay here, although it only costs about 5 euros for a taxi into Albufeira. We thought this hotel was excellent value for money and we would probably stay here again if in the area.

El hotel es tranquilo y tiene una fachada estupenda. El equipamiento de la habitación es normal tirando a bajo. No hay nevera o minibar, aunque a decir verdad yo la solicité y me la pusieron. La piscina es pequeña y cuenta con muy poca sombra y hamacas,además de estar un pelín descuidado (un día había heces de un gato que deambula por allí). La variedad de platos en media pensión es mínima. No es mala opción irse a comer al pueblo. Las bebidas son caras. Sólo hay un jacuzzi. Lo mejor el personal de servicio. La limpieza: tirando bajo.
