feeester has stayed here and says:
"We stayed here for a week in aug 2007. We arrived and were given a free uprade to a junior apartment straight away as we were staying for a week. GREAT START. The hotel was quiet and great for chilling out after long days out exploring. There is a train station at the bottom of the hill if you fancy..."

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel recently, and we were not very impresed by the hotel. I can really say we were disapointed as this was a last minute booking and we just needed something cheap around Sienna. However, if you have the choice I would look else where for accomedation. The hotel is a long drive away from even the remotes village with a restaurant and Sienna will take you ? hour. The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely terrible - the only thing that is actually worse then the food is the service, so this is not really an alternative.

Checked out several hotels in Siena and chose this one. Boutique decor, modern, clean, large rooms and bathroom, friendly staff, nice pool with great view, etc. Excellent value for the money and will return again soon. Made our trip to Siena that much better. Only dislikes - a few tattered edges, average breakfast, a few km from the city - nothing that would impact the overall quality of your stay.

We didn't know what to expect when we arrived at the hotel, read lots of reviews comparing this hotel to Ikea, etc... Well its all true, we really enjoyed the hotel. Very modern, nice clean rooms, free parking out front, and good breakfast... Some pointers for those who plan to stay at this hotel: - !!!! ONLY stay if you plan to rent a car to get around, its really in the middle of nowhere. we had a hard time getting to the hotel but after some asking around found the place. Its about 20 minutes away from Siena. - the breakfast is very good.. - Get the cheapest room, its just like the others rooms and is very nice. I didn't opt for all the massage and extras that the more expensive rooms offer and I dont think i missed anything. - free parking is a huge benefit, lots of light in the evening so i felt safe leaving my rental car parked there. - if you want a historic hotel this is not the place, this hotel is modern and "Ikea" like. - We didn't eat at the restaurant, but it seems very nice. Highly recommend the hotel.

A brilliant base for travelling round the area and great value. We agree with everything that has been said about the rooms but, though small, we found them more than adequate. The bathroom was a nice size and well stocked with toiletries. Staff were friendly, Unfortunately, our room overlooked the house opposite (although beyond that the scenery was stunning) but there was a terrace just along from the room with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our meal in the hotel restaurant on the first night but it turned out to be quite average and expensive in comparison to everything else we ate during our trip ... which says a lot for the generally high standard of food in this part of the world! The pool area is quite basic but more than adequate.

IKEA meets Tuscany

This Hotel is a little off the beaten track, about a 10 minute drive to Siena on the Highway. Don’t stay here if your intent is to visit Siena. This Hotel is more suited to driving or biking around Tuscany to visit the Vinyards or explore the countryside. The Hotel was clean and fairly comfortable. Small by North American Standards, but a good size for a European Hotel. There’s free Internet, a bar, pool and a roof top terrace overlooking vinyards and Olive Trees. As other reviewers have mentioned it does have an IKEA feel to it. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The only complaint I have about this hotel is that the shower did not drain very well.
