here are my issues with the hotel:
first off, I am a world traveler and have been to too many countries and cities to count but I had issues with this hotel:
1. for the price of the hotel, almost 400 USD, i was expecting a five star hotel. that is what i didn't get.
2. concierge, could not speak english, and i asked for map of casablanca, my response was we are out and that was it. i asked them to recommend several restaurants to eat and had to explain 10 minutes for them to understand.
3. requested a non smoking room, and got a room that smelled like smoke.
4. carpet needs to be changed, disgusting
5. asked for a adapter and response was too busy and ran out
6. got a massage in their so called spa, i don't believe that it could get any more ghetto than that spa. my high gym was nicer than that. the massage was good but the faclities are a joke,
7. asked for a driver that could speak english to take me around. arranged and realized his english was not good at all.
8. kept trying to get the hyattt car to take me to the airport when there are tons of mercedes benz taxi's outside the building, and they are half the price.
9. no turn down service,
10. the rooms are too old.
security was everywhere, i do not if this was good or not but it did not feel that great.
so for the money that i paid, was extremely unhappy.

We stayed here for one night before heading out to Fes the next morning. The room was a decent size; more in line with a typical American-sized hotel room. It had a separate tub and shower in the bathroom. The room was recently refurbished since the carpet still smelled strongly of rubber. We had a nice and very comfortable double bed with luxurious sheets; the perfect bed after a long day of plane travel.
The only problem we had was the smelly toilet. Luckily the toilet was a separate room from the shower, tub and sink. Once you closed the door, you can't smell anything at all.
We didn't mind the security at the front of the hotel unlike the other reviewers. We thought that they were very professional. Unfortunately it was a necessary evil.
The breakfast was a nice buffet in a cool looking room. A fairly extensive spread with even a station for eggs made to order any way you like, and of course the turkey sausage and turkey bacon were "halal" (according to the cook). Little did we know that would be our last hot breakfast for the two weeks our tour ran. However, it was a bit pricey at almost 240Dh ($30) per person.
Liked the fact that we were able to book the airport to hotel transfer through the Hyatt website. We were a bit apprehensive about making our way to the hotel given our late arrival. The car used to pick us up was a brand new Mercedes and the young man spoke English very well.
Great place to spend an evening before continuing on towards the rest of Morocco. Unfortunately, we can't comment on their other services.

Great hotel in central location in Casablanca (at the Place des Nations Unies). Very sedate lobby with lots of comfy sofas; also boasts an elegant bar area. Very friendly staff, quick check-in and check-out procedures.
Rooms are large, with spacious marble bathrooms including separate toilet. All rooms are fitted with aircon.
Breakfast included in all deals, usual breakfast bar choice, pretty much what you expect in a five star hotel. Again, very attentive staff.
Didn't get to use the hotel facilities really, but it seems there is a pool, spa and a fitness centre (opened recently?).
Many nice coffee bars around the hotel, Casa Port train station is five minutes by taxi; you need to calculate at least 45-60 minutes by taxi to the airport depending on traffic.
I stayed there at a preferential rate, normal rates are around 240 EUR per night.
I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

I stayed for several nights in a single room. The room was very clean with fresh fruit and snacks upon arrival. No iron, coffee maker or other amenities. There was some noise from the street outside at night and from my neighbor's tv in the very early morning hours- thin windows and walls. The water in the shower had a strange odor. The hotel does not "overlook" the harbor, though it is close by, with the Medina and its many shops directly behind the back door. The lobby and common rooms have no windows and were dark and way too smoky. Some sort of ventilation system is needed! The staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful. Security was (understandably) very tight but we did not encounter any problems. I travelled for business and would probably look for a smaller, boutique hotel when I return with family.
