Hampton Inn & Suites Augusta West is a newly built hotel consisting of 83 rooms; of which 32 are suites and remainder is a mixture of king and double beds. The property is located on the south side of I-20 about 1000 yards from Exit 194 on Dyess Parkway, which leads to the main gate of Fort Gordon, a signal and medical center. The building is 4 1/2 stories high built with block and stucco and is monitored with surveillance cameras inside and in the parking lot. Hotel has a large lobby with waiting room facilities inclusive of breakfast area and large meeting room for local functions. It has large size business center, which will consist of photocopy, fax machine, XP windows based computer with color printer, high-speed Internet access for the guests I.E. All floors have ice, vending, and soda machines. The main floor has a coin operated laundry and detergent dispensing units. The ground floor has an exercise room, which has a treadmill, stepper, stationary bicycle and weight machine with a cable ready TV. The property has a heated indoor pool and a hot tub. Every room has a 27-inch cable TV, internet connection, one cordless and one two line desk phone, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, in room safe, iron, full size ironing board, desk and work chair.
