I stayed 3 nights at this hotel and I have absolutely no complaints about it. It’s not cheap, but it is if you compare it with Disney owned hotels. And you can get good internet deals if you reserve it in advance as I did (I had free breakfast for all the family and a reduced room fare). Unless you go to one of those resorts where you can take the monorail or a launch to Magic Kingdom, the location is as good as any other resort. We arrived at 10.30 AM and were given our room within minutes, though check-in is normally much later in the afternoon. Our room was larger than a same-price Disney resort (I can tell you since we went in one in 2007) and spotless clean. There is an offical Disney store in the lobby where they sell tickets and where you can have your purchases delivered from the parks. Since the resort is within WDW, you can also get extended park time. Breakfast was quite good – and no confusion like in most Disney’s resorts. Parking was free. I would go again next time.

This is a very busy family hotel. The services here were acceptable, but even on the concierge level it was very hard to get a place to sit in the lounge during breakfast. There were literally several children running around the lounge all the time... Where are the parents! I realize that this is Disney, but I think that Hilton can do better at the concierge level keeping small children from running around (maybe even making parents be in the lounge with the kids). The room was very basic but had good beds and nice linens. The room did seem to be in need of some renovation and upgrades to bring it up to Hilton standards (new carpet, a new TV, etc). The bathroom was nice, large, and clean and had appeared to have been upgraded in recent times. The hotel is a very basic and very worn Hilton property. I am sure that it's location and high volume makes it hard to keep up, but I think that it was slightly below Hilton standards (I am a Hilton Honors Diamond Member and stay 75+ nights per year at Hilton properties throughout the world). All in all not bad, but I think that you can do better for the price.

We booked here for a conference (Tech Ed Orlando) as they offered shuttle services for my partner, and early access to Disney World for myself. We changed rooms after the first night. The original room was right under construction, and quite noisy during the day. The second room was quiet, with a view of the pool. The room(s) was ok- nice decor, a bit dated, not too small or anything. There was a desk and a TV. The shower had those sliding glass shower panels. Just seemed a bit old. The pool was a bit old and run down, it seemed. But there were 2 pools, and a hot tub (ir Orlando?!:)). I did use them a couple times, to cool down. Locatio wise, I walked to Downtown disney several times- we ate there a couple times. There are shuttles to Disney world right out the back of the Hilton, which was nice. They also have a bar, couple of restauraunts, an avis car rental, gym, and small corner store place. And of course, Disney gift shop. Staf were courteous, and helpful. We enjoyed staying there, but I think you could get a nicer room for the price. 2 bonuses were the coffee (in the lobby! coffee maker in the room was a pod system, not greatest) and the bed. Oh wow, this was the best sleep ever. I even wrote down what kind of pillow they used, intending to buy some when I got home. Unfortunately I lost it- so if someone wants to check for me?

Stayed at the Hilton in Downtown Disney. It was a very enjoyable stay. We were upgraded to a floor that provided breakfast, snacks, and drinks all day because we are HIlton Honors members. I was hoping for a larger room, but this was a great perk for a family of five. We liked the fact that there was access to off site resturants and pharmacies just 5 minutes away. It was a relief to get away from resort priced food and tolietries. We had 5 in one room, and it was tolerable given the fact that we were not in our room much. The bus service was prompt and very similiar to the Disney on-site bus system. We were very pleased with our stay.

I was at the hotel for a conference and I spent almost all my time at the hotel for five days. The pools (there are at least two) are nice. Everything just feels clean. It's within walking distance from Downtown Disney so you may not even need a car from one of those ripoff car rental places. I'm sure there's a shuttle to and from Disney and to/from the airport. I'll go back next time I'm in Orlando on my own.
