We had booked this hotel after a recommendation that it was perfect if you were leaving with the ferries early in the morning. We arrived late at night, and left early in the morning for the ferry to Paros.
The hotel is perfectly located in the harbour, only a couple of hundred meters to the ferries. However, if you're going to spend the day(s) in Athens it would be much better to find a hotel in the center of Athens, although it only takes about 15 minutes with metro to the city center.
The room was very nice decorated, the rooms were fairly new and good equipped, and the included breakfast on the top floor provided a good selection of drinks and food.
Be aware: If you come with the X96-bus from the airport it's only a couple of minutes walk to the hotel. We were talked to by a taxi driver that insisted that it was too far to walk, at least twenty minutes, and said that we absolutely should take a taxi there as it was almost impossible to find. We didn't believe that though, and after a couple of minutes walk and a direction-help from a nice old greek lady, we found it without a problem.

Most of the other reviews have said pretty much most of what I would have said. The location is really great for getting a morning ferry and we also went into town and visited the acropolis on the metro and it wasn't really a drama at all. The hotel itself is a good budget option, clean well presented, the rooms are fine. The breakfast is great and there is free internet for guests as well. It's about a 10min walk to the ferry which was so good for our 7.15am ferry departure

- Comfortable room with great shower
Negatives
- Slightly far from central Athens, but would be ideal if arriving late into or leaving early from Port Piraeus

This hotel was very convenient for our early morning ferry. It was quite a walk from the metro with our suitcases, so we cabbed to the ferry. Also, a cab to the Piraeus night-life was only 5 euros and worth going out.
Rooms were basic, as you would expect for their rate, but there were a couple nice and unexpected touches. We had a tea set-up in our room, and there was a mini-bar with excellent prices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The showers were incredibly small. Breakfast was the usual but included in the hotel rate.
The location is lacking of any charm, but it's worth the sacrifice to be 5 minutes from those early ferries. Overall a good value.
