This hotel was in very good decorative order but it somehow lacked comfort. Vannes is a very intersting place and you can walk into the centre from the hotel but we found the area the hotel was in was very unexciting. We didn't feel we got good value for money. We booked a room with a view of the chinese garden for extra cost. The garden was minute so you mainly overlooked the car park at the back. The front rooms were on a busy road. The staff were all very pleasant and the room very acceptable. Breakfast was mediocre.

My wife have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Villa Kerasy. The hotel is stylishly furnished, beautifully looked after, and run by charming people. Don't be put off by it's location opposite the railway station, it is very quiet at night and is very convenient for the town centre - a 10 minute walk. Vannes is a beautiful town with an excellent mix of shops and restaurants. A couple of things not to miss, the market on Saturday, and a meal at Terroir (ask the hotel for details of this lovely restuarant. The husband and wife owners have worked on top restaurants in the UK, (he was the sommelier at the Fat Duck at Bray) until recently.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Villa Kerasy in early September. Luckily we had an airconditioned room. The deocr of the hotel is fabulous, cosy with an oriental theme; the twin beds are excellent, much wider than normally expected. Our room 'Cadix' was lovely and spacious, only lacking a mirror in the room. Toiletries of superior quality.
What made the hotel, though, was the staff. The two owners and receptionist were the perfect hosts, all speaking fluent English. The breakfast was also of a fabulous quality. Overall a most enjoyable stay. The Japanese garden was lovely, too.

recently stayed at villa kerasy and having seen their website the room was a disappointment particularly for the price 138 euros breakfast was extra, our room overlooked the railway we could have paid more money to overlook the car park no garden apart from a tiny terrace outside we should have paid more attention to previous review. on the plus side the staff were charming and helpful and vannes was beautiful definately a shortage of good reasonably priced hotels though
