The Panyu Xiangjiang Hotel Guangzhou is located on the Pearl River Delta not far from the city of Guangzhou. It is 12 miles from the city center, 21 miles from the railway station and 41.25 miles from the airport. At this distance from the city, this is probably a last resort hotel, especially worth trying during the annual Trade Fair that arrives in town around October time. The hotel is of three star facilities, with a total of 150 rooms. Your choice is limited to just standard double rooms, and all are equipped with DDD/IDD telephones, colour TVs, and central air-conditioning. Room service is available. The hotel has a number of facilities within its confines, for those with nothing to do. The best of these include a tennis court, a gym, a massage service, a sauna, and a shopping arcade. The business center is fairly well equipped with FAX, internet, photocopying and ticket booking services. A conference room (capable of holding 180 people), and a number of meeting rooms are available for functions. There are over 10 restaurants in the hotel and one cafe, that mostly serve a selection of Cantonese food.
