Motorboats depart from the private jetty for visits to the Borromeo Islands. The Hotel offers all the latest comfort and technology. Hotel Splendid's Health Club offers its guests a swimming-pool, solarium, sauna, fitness, Turkish bath, whirlpool, ping pong, tennis court and bicycles. Many more other activities are offered in the close vicinity: horse riding, golf, sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing. The property will be closed for renovations Nov 2003-Mar 2004.

Staff coundn't be more helpful or courtious. Everywhere was spotless. The choice of food was excellent. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
