The Hotel Colosseum is located in a quiet street in the heart of the city, very close to the Cathedral of St. Mary Major and fifteen minutes walking from the Colosseo. The hotel can easily be reached by bus and metro and offers a comfortable and relaxing environment. On the top floor, guests can enjoy a wonderful view of the ancient Rome and its major monuments. Parking is available at 50 meters. The 50 rooms are old style furnished, all with private bath/shower, hair dryer, Sat-TV, direct telephone, safe and air conditioning are on request. We recently renewed our rooftop where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Rome by night, drinking your aperitif before dinner. Our front desk has all information available regarding sightseeing tours, car- bike and scooter rental. If necessary, we provide luggage deposit. The hotel is located not far from the Opera House and is well connected with the public transportation system. The metro stop "cavour" is at three minutes walking distance. The taxi and bus stations are at exactly three minutes walking distance and located on the square of the Church of S.Maria Maggiore, one of the four Cathedrals in Rome.
