The Four Points Dornbirn is an excellent hotel, easily a 4 star. The hotel design is spectacular, very stylish with great use of technology. This hotel is much, much nicer than the typical Four Points Sheraton in the USA. The town of Dornbirn is relatively small and quite, although it is a very nice and clean town. The hotel location is convenient off the Autobahn if you're travelling to/from Germany, Switzerland, or Liechtenstein. The messe, a shopping mall, and a few large stores right next to the hotel within a convenient walk (although most close early on Saturday and are not open on Sunday) All in all, I really enjoyed the hotel. The unique design made it a stand out in my two week trip to Europe.

We stayed in this hotel after 4 days in the five star Grand Hotel Miramare in St. Margherita Ligure. Want to know a secret? This hotel is better. Ok, so maybe it is just a little quieter and more relaxed on the outskirts of Dornbirn than on the Italian Riviera. Whatever. Our check-in was friendly and helpful. The underground parking is free for hotel guests (yes, just as it should be!). The pool is just great. The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is very very tasty and the service is good even when challenged by special requests. The rooms are beautiful with ultra-modern designer decor and lighting and a very comfortable bed. I love the bathrooms. Nothing pretentious, a slick place!

Von der modernen Architektur her passt das Gebäude, in dem sich das Four Points (by Sheraton) Hotel Panoramahaus in Dornbirn befinden, nicht so richtig in die Alpenlandschaft. Hat man aber erst einmal die Hotelhalle betreten, hat einen das geradlinige Design auch schon überzeugt. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr sauber ohne jemals steril zu wirken. Es überwiegen warme und freundliche Erdtöne in den Zimmern und öffentlichen Bereichen. Die Zimmer sind mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet und warten mit einigen pfiffigen Ideen z.B. in der Minibar oder der Beleuchtung auf den Gast. Die Bäder sind großzügig geschnitten und die Betten sehr bequem. Das Restaurant im obersten Stockwerk mit Panoramablick auf die Berge bietet eine kleine aber feine Speisekarte. Die Gerichte sind vielleicht ein wenig zu teuer aber in jeden Fall sehr gut zubreitet. In der kleinen Bar kann man Getränke aus einer außergewöhnlich großen Getränke- und Teekarte wählen. Ein Höhepunkt ist zweifellos der Wellnessbereich Home of Balance, in den Hotelgäste freien Zutritt haben. In dem Sole-Hallenbad, dem Panorama-Außenpool und den zahlreichen Saunen kann man problemlos einen ganzen Urlaubstag verbringen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das Personal des Four Points Hotel Panoramahaus. Alle Angestellten treten dem Gast mit natürlicher Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommendheit entgegen, sodass dieser sich zu jedem Zeitpunkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben fühlt. Für mich ist das Four Points by Sheraton Hotel Panoramahaus in Dornbirn nicht nur eine Alternative zu einer Übernachtung direkt am nahen Bodensee, sondern wäre ab jetzt immer die erste Wahl für einen Aufenthalt in der Region. In allen Belangen sehr zu empfehlen!

We stayed in Panoramahaus Dornbirn on our way to Switzerland, the hotel is located very close to the autobahn and across a shopping mall in the outskirts of the city. Our check-in was fast and efficient and we had been booked a junior suite for our family of 4, on the 10th floor. The room had huge glass window panels providing us with spectacular views of the city itself and the Voralberg Alps. The suite was large,with state of the art technology , a laminated wood covered floor, a nice flat TV set, a large size office for working and the sofa was converted to a bed for the kids. The bathroom was huge, the shower and bathtub area were separated from the rest of the bathroom with a glass panel. Bathroom amenities included everything and there were bathrobes availiable for all 4 of us and the towels were plenty. Beds,pillows,matresses were all of good quality ensuring a good nights sleep.The mini bar was well stocked. Internet is free of charge at a desk in the lobby and and those with a laptop in posession, can access free the net after obtaining a password from the reception. At evening we had drinks at the very cosy hotel-bar. Breakfast was magic, served at the 11th floor were the restaurant is located and we were lucky enough(since the weather was fine) to seat at the terrace outside the restaurant with all the wow views of the area. Staff were very polite and extremely helpfull and the buffet itself had huge selection.Tea lovers dont miss the selection of fine teas offered.I have though to agree with the other fellow travellers, regarding the pool situation since kids under 16 are not permitted to the area. Plus was the free parking at the hotel garage. Needles to mention that next time in Dornbirn we will return to Panoramahaus.
