Pantelleria, with its volcanic origins, is the largest of the Sicilian islands. The resort is just 6 km far from the local airport, 10 km far from Pantelleria centre and harbour, and only a few minutes away by car from the small village of Scauri. In the exquisite environment of Valle di Monastero and Piana di Sibà a collection of ancient “dammusi”, typical local buildings, have been restored and renovated into high level lodgings, ideal for both a relaxing and an active holiday. All the buildings are situated within the confines of Santa Teresa, a working farm which extends over 40 hectares of vineyards, producing wines, olive trees, vegetables, lentils, beds of aromatic herbs and woodland. Sibà houses the reception area, the ample Arabian garden, an area for practicing golf, a cluster of 8 houses, named Sibà, with a swimming pool as well as another 4 houses, named Frà Diavolo, again with a swimming pool. In the adjacent Monastero Valley there are 2 mini villages clustered together, one comprising of 3 houses near the swimming pool and the other, of another 3 houses, in a more secluded area. The small village of Sibà and its delightful church is a stone throw away. From here you can reach Scauri in only a few minutes by car, a village with a small harbour and a shingle beach. To fully enjoy your stay in the island we suggest hiring a car when booking your accommodation. The “dammusi”, recently restored and tastefully decorated are all individual and unique. We classify them into 3 categories, based on to the dimension, position, indoor and outdoor facilities: comfort – superior – excellent. Each can accommodate between 2 and 4 people, some with the main bed in an alcove or a gallery and all featuring a bathroom (there is one “dammuso” with two bathrooms), a kitchenette and air conditioning.
