Great place to stay!

I recommend this hotel for: Families with young children, Older travelers, Tourists.
The hotel is in an excellent situation in central Nantes close to all the sites and within 5 minutes walk of the excellent restaurants in the Bouffay area. You can almost hop on to one of the superb trams & buses that network the city from the main door. The room was very clean, warm and spacious with a great view over the rooftops. The reception staff were extremely helpful and their English excellent. Breakfast at 12 euros was varied and plentiful. We would recommend this hotel for any visit to the city!

This hotel is located near to the old town and within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants and the sights.Parking in a safe underground car park nearby free at the weekends with hotel's exit pass. Rooms are a good size with modern features.Bathroom fittings not to my taste(heavy on the designer light on the practical) but bed comfortable. Very good breakfast buffet ,including fresh orange juice. Staff friendly and effecient. Excellent value.

Good Alternative to Larger Hotels in Nantes

Good location right on one of the main streets in Nantes, nice staff and good breakfast. Also includes free high-speed internet, which worked very well. Wasn't as crazy about the room, which despite its very modern architecture and minimalist decor, seemed a bit tired and needing a refreshing. The bathroom was OK, but no shower curtain, so be prepared to take baths using the typically French flexible bath hose. Because of the good price for downtown Nantes I give the hotel an "Above Average" rating, but if the price was not as attractive compared with other downtown business hotels I might rate it simply "Average".

good if you you're not a light sleeper

The design of the rooms and its furniture (and the bathroom sink!) is certainly unique, and the location of the hotel is great. But light sleepers beware: you are either facing one of the city's main streets, or a bar where drunken patrons sit on the terrasse till quite late. And don't think you'll be able to make up for the late nights by sleeping in, because the maids start clunking around very early in the morning...
